Fisher & Paykel Eson 2 Nasal
CPAP Mask Setup
Step 1: Getting Started
Welcome to a better night's sleep with the Fisher & Paykel Eson™ 2 Nasal CPAP Mask. Start by ensuring you have all the components: the mask, headgear, and tubing.
Step 2: Adjust the Headgear
Gently place the mask on your face, making sure the cushion sits comfortably over your nose. Adjust the headgear straps for a snug but not tight fit. Remember, it should feel secure, not constricting.
Step 3: Seal Check
Perform a quick seal check by turning on your CPAP machine. Feel around the edges of the mask for any air leaks. If you detect any, readjust the headgear and cushion for a better seal.
Step 4: Comfort is Key
Lie down as you would when sleeping, and make small adjustments if needed. Ensure the mask remains comfortable and secure during different sleep positions. This will contribute to a restful night's sleep.
Step 5: Cleaning and Maintenance
Keep your mask in top condition by cleaning it regularly. Wash the cushion, frame, and headgear with mild soap and warm water. Allow them to air dry away from direct sunlight.
